Just got the 8350i nextel, received a direct connect and it showed up in the message (email) box. I only want to see my emails, not direct connect. How do I get rid of that option?

Do this:

1. Green call key to enter phone mode
2. Menu key - select Options
3. Scroll to Call Logging and select it
4. Choose the "None" option from the next

That didn't work for me... any suggestions on how to change it in options (turn off directr send) on the people who are DC'ing me? I could at least fix it on family members phone so I get less..

Push track ball on Message icon, then hit your Menu button, scroll and click on Options, then click on General Options, scroll down to Hide Filed Messages, Default is OFF, switch it to ON. I just found this info on a different thread and per the 10 people on there that did it and responded, it works. I just did it to mine 10 minutes ago. I'll know tomorrow if it works.

That didn't work for me with the update but it worked great before the update...

My options aren't on and off they are yes and no so it says "Hide filed messages.. YES"
