I have an unlocked 8310 running on TMobile, OS 4.5.0.124. Every time I try to add an app using DM, it automatically wants to reload the entire OS. Any thoughts on why? It is driving me NUTS!

Dunno. Have you ever actually completed the OS load? If there's an OTA option for your app I always recommend using OTA installs.

There are other options outside of DM. If for some reason I cannot locate an OTA install for an app (as takeshi noted), I use JL_Cmder to load the app on the device.

It's because the OS is still loaded onto your computer. Uninstall the OS (through "add/remove programs" or your method of choice), and you shouldn't have that problem anymore. After you have the OS loaded on your phone there's really no reason to keep it on your computer anyway. I just keep the install files in case I need to reload for some reason.

I have the same issue ever since I went to DM 4.7

Removed all OS files from my PC. But every time I run DM 4.7,
DM scans for updates and tells me App Updates are available, listing 4.5 for
System Software and Core Applications. I even followed through with it's
advice, even though the upgrade was there on the phone - and it still
tells me upgrades are available.
