I'm Upset About BeeJive!
Please Login to Remove!
Hey everyone! Does anyone know (or have en estimate) to when BeeJive will come out for the Storm!? They say early 2009... That could be in 3 months! That's still early! I'm sad :(. I don't like using multiple apps, I just want MY app, the one I paid for!
Anyways, any estimates?
Thanks

No. The only information we have is the early 2009 estimate they have on their site. I am sure they are working on hard on it.

IM+ All-in-One Mobile Messanger
Hi there
Give IM+ application a try. It works really great on Storm. Special version for Storm is avaiable.

Its a shame they dropped the ball on this one especially for a software that we have to pay for. If it was a free app, then I really wouldnt mind. For now Im using Instango, im not thrilled with it..but it works almost fine with the storm.

Huh? Why what? Why don't they want to spend $50 on an IM program? Why would you?

... there's no way I'd spend that. I was reluctant to pay BeeJive's about 1.5 years ago. or 2 years ago? Why would I pay double?!?! THey're nuts.

I don't know why you're upset with Beejive then... it's not their fault you chose to move to a device they don't yet support.

it is their fault that the OS has been out for about 6 months on the internet, with the simulator :P. And the phone itself has been out for over 3 months. a lot of companies have made games, apps and this SAME app for IM+ is obviously out :P So why is beejive taking so long?

I suspect, and I know this has been talked about in other chat forums and other threads around here, but I would not expect anything for the Storm to surface prior to the App Store launching. I am sure, not only RIM, but the developers know what kind of hit the App Store is going to be. Most if not all are going to wait for that application to launch to debut any new (or old, for that matter) apps, features, themes, wallpapers, etc...
I get it, but I do not like it at all. I have wanted to return my Storm more so due to the lack of apps, themes and the such, than the wishy-washy OS. Since when does it take this long for these types of things to come about..... I will tell you! Since there is going to be an App Store... just my 2 cents!
BTW, I CAN NOT STAND the default theme on the Storm. If they launched a handful of new themes I would be bat sh*t happy!

I tried the IM+ app and it crashed my Storm a few times. I deleted it and the crashes stopped. IDK if anyone else was experiencing this, but Id say Ill just be patient and wait for my precious Beejive.
Its the best IM app for the BB IMO.
