Hello all,

I've been using BB for about 4 years now and have never felt any of the devices get warm, not even the batteries.

However I now notice that my Bold is warm. Warm to the touch on the forearm or face.

Is this normal? I've attributed this to the larger battery size. Am I correct or is my device defective.

I don't know the bold, but doesn't sound good. Is this something new, or been that way all along?

Its been that way since I got it. I'm going to have to ask the provider about it.

Mine gets a little warm after a long phone call (> 15 minutes) or a lengthy tether session. Has done so since day one. OS is .190

with calls longer than 10 minutes you will have a warm bold, or running applications for extended periods of time. Newer OS will fix a little

what I have noticed is that 3G phones get hot, some to the point of no longer being comfortable to the touch.

Mine get warm after a long call. It has never bothered me, and I consider it a non-issue. It's a big battery in there!
