I feel like a dork even asking...but has anyone ever had a problem with the W/1 key? I have to press the button with more pressure than the other keys -- and especially noticable when I am typing sentences because the 'W' ould be missing from ords. (joke)

Is it worth exchanging at the ATT store or will they look at me like I am crazy like you probably are? It is the only key that has this issue.

If it bothers you that much, exchange it. I don't have that problem so it must just be your device.

There is no difference between the "W/8" key on my bold. If you are with in your 30 days of purchase from AT&T store you are well within your right to exchange your phone. That the "buyers remorse" policy.

I exchanged mines with no problems at all. All I had to do was walk in tell them it was messed up.

I haven't had that problem at all. You should be able to exchange it. Otherwise, return it for a full refund then buy a new one


Just wondering, but on my bold the W key isn't the same key as the 8 key?

My M key acts the same way. I've been considering an overhaul with parts from cnn.cn.

I have the same issue with my "SYM" key. I have to press it more than the other keys and have a click to it. I'm hoping replacing the keyboard will help.
