I found this program after reading about it in these forums yesterday. What an awesome program.

I have all the RSS feeds set up and understand all of that and everything works fine.

Now I want to set up an RSS feed for a specific forum. I know how to do that and can get it working but here is what I want to do.

I want to be able to set up and RSS feed for a admin forum on a web site that I have access to. When I put the username and password in and save it for that channel on Viggo and then update the channel it tells me that the URL does not reference a valid Rss feed. Is there a way to access a forum like this?

Do you have the specific RSS feed address for that site?
It may have an RSS feed but it in a different format. Try that feed in other options.

I also have more success when I add from my.viigo.com site from the PC

I run a forum web site just like Blackberry forums.

I can get one RSS feed to work for a particular forum and that one looks like this:

If I try to get one to work for a forum that you have to be logged into the site to see then it gives me the error message "the URL does not reference a valid Rss feed".

I thought if you put the username and password in the channel setup then it would log you in and get that RSS feed?

Am I doing something wrong?

I am inquiring to see if it is a forum issue or VIIGO issue.

This forum is set up the same way as the other forum I have the RSS feed to that I meantioned. Like I said the only difference is that you have to be logged into the forum to get the RSS feed and to read it. I think it is a VIIGO issue but that is why I am asking here.
