Just upgraded from 8703 to Storm and bought the case with belt clip. Thought it was a strange that you cannot connect the AC charger while the unit is in the case.

Does anyone know where I can buy a case with the magnet that turns the device off and would still allow me to connect the charger on the side?

I ordered a car charger, some screen protectors, and a case when I ordered the phone. It all arrived at once. The package for the case says it is for a curve. The storm fits, but it is real tight. The curve fits just right.

What does your pacakge say?

I already threw away the packaging. I got it from Verizon when I ordered the Storm last week over the phone. The Storm sits vertically in the case with a velcro top.

I ordered a holster and it arrived yesterday. The holster has the sleeper function and allows you to charge while it's in the holster.

So far, I like it.

The holster is OK but I prefer the leather case. I am just annoyed that I can't charge the Storm while the device is in the case. Hopefully, a leather case will come out soon that allows for this.

If you are careful, you could probably modify your existing holster easy enough.

I'm using Blackberry OEM leather case from Verizon 7130 for now. Sleeper function works well. So far I haven't seen one that I like, waiting for something worth my money.

I've thought about making a hole but these cases don't last once the stitching is compromised. Have not seen a case out there yet that accomodates the charger while connected.

there is a nice side holster case on crackberry designed for the storm (allows you to charge it in holster), doesn't ship until the 26th though :(

I noticed banners on the site I ordered my accessories from that mentioned that they do ship to the UK. I ordered via PdaKing.com but all of the invoices, etc read Fommy.com
