How do you have Midpssh working, I installed but can find a place where i could use my ssh keys and specify a non standard port to connect to the centos server.

I did not try to get a key working yet. But i use nonstandard ports, just append a : and port like..

127.0.0.1:1234

for port 1234.

For some reason I can not get FQDN to work, just IP.

Some one told me that there was an app where you could hold your phone up to a radio playing & it would display the artist & song playing. Does anyone know what app that is & if its available for a blackberry?

I know there's an app like that for the iphone.

Does Amaze not work on the Alltel network ? I get no satelite reception, and from the settings help on Amaze's site I don't see Alltel listed.

Nevermind. I uninstalled it using the Desktop Manager and then reinstalled with the manager. Apparently downloading and installing OTA failed completely. Works just fine now.

Ah I forgot about that bit of information, I had to do the same. But I thought it was just me so kind of just filled it away in a deep dark corner somewhere...

One free app that I really like and have used on the 8130 and 8330 is Microsky. I am totally unable to get it working on my 8320 with 4.5.0.81 and the message:

"Logon error!"
"Step 1:Could not connect http://"
"Tunnel failed"

I have tried all three versions and also with EDGE alone and WiFi.

Any ideas?

Did this:

"You need to reset your APN, go to options/advanced/tcp
APN: wap.voicestream.com

leave name and password blank."

and now it works. Just hope it doesn't screw something else since my WiFi and EDGE switched seamlessly before.

Also the app Starry Night

SPACE.com -- Applets, Widgets and Gadgets!

works. Sure wish I understood all this!!!!

I just discovered WebMessenger this weekend. So far, it seems like a pretty good little app. I'm also using the desktop client too, and using it to co-ordinate with the BB client. It's a neat little setup!

I'm pretty impressed with it so far.
