Default Blackberry + Beer = ?????

Please Login to Remove!

My phone slid into my cup of beer last night, anyone had any luck getting a BB back running after an encounter with a liquid?

Going to buy a new phone ( at full price ) should I upgrade to a BOLD ?

Does anyone know bold/curve cases & docking station are compatable.

Waiting on AT & T or phone to magically start working again.

If there is hope for it to start working again, you may want to pull the battery for a few days.

i accidentally poured coffee on my BlackBerry in august. I let it dry out for a few weeks, turned it back on, and it was all good. Like nothing every happened to it. Cept it smelled like coffee for a lil while, it worked just fine.

My buddy left his BB 8320 on the step of the boat trailer as were set to launch and forgot it. It sat underwater for at least 5 minutes as we tried to call the phone to discover where he left it...

Found it under the trailer on the ramp (under water). Pulled the battery for a couple of days, left the cover off and put it on an HVAC (heat pump) vent.

The phone works! He has had it working for a month now, with no issues. These things are tough!!

No, the Bold is a bigger phone and wouldn't fit in a Curve case. If by docking station you mean desktop charger then again it's no. The Bold's charging contacts are on the sides while the Curve's are on the back. And again the phone is wider then the Curve.
