And what's the recharge time using the standard BlackBerry charger?

Since this won't have the same embedded handshake hardware as a RIM OEM battery, I have to assume the charging throttle-down will make a recharge take quite a while.

I'm also guessing this will no longer fit my BlackBerry Power Station. my Fortte glove leather case, my Fortte open face case, my Otterbox Defender case, my Otterbox Impact skin, my Boxwave holster clip and maybe not even my BlackBerry Charging Pod.

And 6mm=1/4" of added thickness on a phone that's only 14mm=1/2" (+ a smidge) to begin with. It would be less thickness to duct tape a spare RIM battery to the back of the case.

Geez....don't buy it if you don't like it. No need to be snide.

Seidio has sold these for most all the BB models.

Looks like they just bolted an extra batter to the back... would be nice if the back cover were smoothed out a bit more

SEIDIO, can you please post a picture with the battery installed on the bold with NO cover? I want to see how it looks with the battery installed to get a better idea of size.

Thank you.

It makes the berry sit out about the size of the quote button on this site (about .5mm or so). I have one and love it, I am not always near a charger so the extra juice. It does bulge, but I am tall 6'6" have big hands so not a problem for me! Couple that with the fortte body glove case w or w/o clip, great combination!

Thank you for your comment. I like to ask you than if you would please take a quick pic of the battery on the bold with no cover. Will you PLEASE do that? Its really not so much about the size but I want to see how it look on the bold sideways because I have an idea for a nice mod for that extended battery. Thanks if you will do this for me.

I think its looks huge because of the battery cover. That's why I want to see it without that cover. The 1650 is a good buy since its the same price att wants for the 1500 battery.

is the 1650 any more juice than the OEM? Isn't the OEM 1500?
