I turned my BB bold off to see what kind of battery was in it and when I turned it back on there were a bunch of these failed messages requiring me to click ok and then all of my customized buttons on the wallpaper were gone except for 1 (gmail) but now all the others are gone. Like text message isnt there and its not in the menu either. And the msn messenger isnt there or in the menu or in the download folder. I just got this phone on thursday so should I take it back and get a new one or try to fix it?

just pull the battery again, and it shouldnt have a problem. I also get these errors, but only once in a while, and i have also seen a few posts on it. seems to be just a glitch.

Make sure you're running the latest OS you can find for the Bold.

I had problems like that whenever I restarted. Upgrading my OS to a new version (.162) solved it.
