No. It is automatically configured for that particular Blackberry. Try using DVDfab platinum. That you can configure. Works great. I have used it for about 2 years.

does that work with non-dvds like music videos too?

yes. If you get those videos from youtube you can use Mobiola. I use it to download and convert youtube videos on my berry. Works great.
