Interesting - based on this thread I have determined that it is a specific sequence of numbers that is bringing up the emergency prompt... in my case the numbers '08' which are in the middle of my password cause the emergency prompt. I can't for the life of me figure out why '08' would indicate that i might be trying to make an emergency call, but seems like that's the behavior.
It even does it if i press '0x' without the alt key to bring up the 8.
I guess in the interim, i'll just have to change it to something different.
Thanks for the help in troubleshooting this one. Not an answer, but at least a workaround.
