Default What does this indicator indicate?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Bold from ATT. When I first got it and turned it on, 2 blue (or it might have been green) squares appeared next to the EDGE or 3g. I have not seen them since. What do they indicate?

OK I clicked on a link inside an email. The browser opened, and kinda of hung there. Thats when this indicator appeared,
Its a square with a smaller green square in the top left corner and one in the lower right corner and next to it is an unlocked padlock.
Once I closed the browser the indicators went away.

What is this???

Are you talking about the 'home screen status indicators' on pg 5?

If you are, this symbol is not listed there. Can you please tell me what it indicates?

It has something to do with the browser. Not with wifi, I don't have it on right now. And it appears with both EDGE and 3G. But only when the BB browser is open.
Could the padlock have something to do with security on the website?

To answer my own question....I just tried to log on to Ebay and sure enough, the padlock then locked.

Now if I could only figure out what the green squares mean!

I *think* I remember something about it being related to how the browser is connected, e.g. via BES, BIS, MDS, whatever vs. a direct connection. I think.
