Default Updated OS - SureType Gone

Please Login to Remove!

I updated my 8130 OS from 4.3 to v4.5.077 (platform 3.2.0.51) last night and the process went very smoothly. I downloaded the program via the Verizon website via a link from another posting. When I went to use the device today, SureType is gone. It has defaulted to MultiTap (which is a pain) and under options where there is usually an option to "enable suretype" there is no such option. I did a battery pull without luck. Initially I thought I installed an incorrect version that was for QWERTY keyboards, but I checked on the forums today and it seems to be the right one. Any suggestions here? I'm away from my home PC where I did the upgrade until tonight, but if there is a quick fix I'm missing, it would make this day go much easier. Do I need to reinstall the OS? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks.

Wirelessly posted

Reinstalled the OS and all is right with the world. RIM tech support wasn't sure what happened. A bit of a pain, but it's over.
