The title says it all, does the windows live messenger app for blackberry use SMS or does it use my internet connection?

When I am logged on using my BB, the other people get a message stating I am getting messages by mobile phone and that text message costs may apply.

I'm OK receiving text (thank god rogers didn't follow Bell/Teleus) but does it send out using SMS?

The WL IM from BB uses the data plan. mobile.blackberry.com
