OK, i hit the alt-Shift-Del key on my 8310. I saw a quick message pop up, and then I must have hit enter and the message went away, but NOW

When I try to compose any type of message the following thigns happen

If i hit the m key, Nm shows up

If i hit the del key Jk shows up

If ihit the space key, nm shows up

If i hit the enter key b$ shows up

and on and on and on...

What did I do?

You might have changed the Input Language?
Check Options > Language

I was thinking that but the Language is English, the Input Language is English US

The voice Dialing Language is English

I have toggled back and forth between Use Input shortcut Language,and Notify me, but no success either way... Well small success

For now, the only keys that seem to act up are the del key, and the enter key

Try alt enter and see if you can toggle back to your original.

that sounds to me like a wet keyboard, or something else is shorting somewhere.. i have seen similar behavior. usually a disassemble and an alcohol bath will fix.

I did have it in the rain today. itwas in my pocket, but nonetheless.......

I take it , a look at any manual should show me how to disassemble.... what about procedures on how to do the alchohol bath...
