Default I miss a simple thing (imho)

Please Login to Remove!

in the last few days I got some mails like "let's meet tomorrow at 3" or "please call me next week" and so on. While reading these mails I encountered a missing function.
I was not able to create an appointment from these mails. In outlook it is simple by drag and drop. But on my Pearl I have to close the message, go into the "apps", search for the calendar, search for the right date, press the option button to create new appointment... simply annoying.
Does anyone know a better way? May be I missed the special keystroke 'til today?
Regards, Frank

There is nothing 'built in' to the OS to do that, unfortunately. Take a look at the Third Party Apps forum, as I believe it was discussed there and there are a few options.

Yes outlook allows you to copy that email into calendar and set up the entry. No way I have found to do the same thing in the BB unfortunately!

There is a feature of BBSmart Email Viewer that allows for creating tasks directly from an email. This was the my favorite feature of BBSmart.

Yes, as was just said, BBSmart Email Viewer works very well for this type of thing. The email can be imported as a task or a calendar item.

In addition to BBSmart, RexConnect will allow you to do that as well.
