jibi says that 4.6.0.162 is "...out if you look..." I've looked but not had any luck yet.

Just a FYI ppl. The 156 that was leaked was not for carrier testing but for internal testing only that's why it's 117mb. After installing on your pc and before attempting to upgrade remember to delete the entire RIM tools folder. If you don't delete this folder you will get quincy installed on your device which is software that speaks to RIM about errors, etc. The folder is in the same area that the vendor file is.

The point was that you said that 162 was out in the wild.

considering that .162 is not an internal-only build and the track record of how quickly it usually spreads when this is not a stipulation, then the 'in the wild' assessment should be fairly accurate - if not today, then by week's end at the latest (although recent history shows it to be sooner than later).

Anyone else noticing a slower browser (longer time to request pages) and slower picture loading times in .154/6 versus .147?

As a side note, thank god for betas... Rogers is still only offering .125, it's a piece of GARBAGE. 147 is most stable and fastest I've seen so far, but looking forward to .162

156 still doesn't work correctly with WIFI, as was the case with 150. I'm rolling back to 147 unless someone can confirm that 162 has this issue resolved..

What issue, exactly? I suspect that your issue has little to do with the version of device software. .156 brings only a minor update to the WLAN version (2.4.0.60). You might try rebuilding the profile for the network in question.

No. Only noticeable differences are improvements in browsing.

@ bigwillokc: On the WiFi issue: Each time I upgrade I loose the WEP settings and find myself having to re-input them into each of the saved profiles. Perhaps that's your issue?
