I have searched the curve forums & have yet to find a method of disabling all the other calendars and working with just one.
Has anyone had any success with this?

Is there a way to skip the calendar update when going from 4.2 to 4.5?

Just set the one you want for your default and forget the others are there.

yup.. what Zerog46 said....
If you sync your calendars all through DM , or in your case google Sync, you can have everything go to your default calendar. (You define which one is the default under Options > Advanced Options > Default Services > Calendar (CICAL) )

The only time this won't work is if you use BIS to retrieve e-mail for more than 1 e-mail account. If you receive a meeting request it will automatically be listed in the calendar associated with that e-mail account.

Here's my problem--Google sync only seems to sync if I have my google address set as the default calendar on my BB, and the download manager won't sync my calendar with outlook (it doesn't even attempt to access the calendar) unless my other email address is set as the default calendar on my BB.

I've recently upgraded to the 4.5 OS for the 8320. Under the previous OS, I'd enter a calendar event on my BB, it would automatically sync with my google calendar through google sync, and I'd eventually sync with outlook via download manager. Is this still possible and I'm just a moron?

Thanks,
Garrett

I don't know how long it lasts (until service books update), but you can delete the service books for all the calendars, then it acts like before. Actually per an old thread, if you then send the service books, it should work. If that doesn't work, just delete the service books again.
