When I go in my browser to
Options
>Cache operations
>Pushed content
And I select to clear the pushed content it asks me to verify that I want to delete this.
So my question is what is pushed content, and is it ok to delete it?

Yes it is ok, it could be a weather app that gets pushed to your BB.

I have verizon, so where would it come from, verizon, or from surfing the web?
I only seem to have pushed content after I'm done using the internet.
I guess what I'm wondering is if that content is safe... I have read on here that there are no known viruses for BBs, but I get worried because of all of the spam and spyware that can be downloaded to a computer without your knowledge.
I may sound really silly, but I just want to take precautions because I have only recently realized how complex BBs actually are

There is no problems, there are no virus out there for the BB, and you can delete this content when ever you want. I do mine about once a week.

I do have another question about this same issue. Verizon pushes out a facebook link, how do I remove that from my BB so that it won't come back?
I had a pearl and they kept sending typing tutor. when I called verizon about the problem they had me delete it from the service books, but that would only last until I rebooted. They ended up taking back my pearl and sending me a curve because they couldn't figure out how to stop it.
I love the curve and don't want them to reclaim that, so I haven't complained about the facebook app. But I figured if anyone would know how to remove that it would be the people of this wonderful forum.
Any suggestions?

I deleted mine by deleting the service book, but I'm sure it will come back again the next time the service books are sent. I'm pretty sure that I have rebooted my BB without the Facebook app coming back though.

Could I Disable Them Sending The Service Books Since I Already Have My Phone Established, Or Would That Create A Problem Receiving My Email? And Do You Think That Would Stop The App From Coming Back?
