Hello. I have installed the Desktop Manager, I pressed the 'Check for Updates' link, which directs to the Orange UK Software Download in order to update my firmware with the latest so the Bold gonna work properly. Well, Bold doesn't even appear in the list to continue pressing Next. When are they going to add it?

have you downloaded the 147 firmware pack? - as i said in a prev. post, you need to google for it - I cant give you the link :( - but, if you install it, then delete the vender.xml it installs fine

DJBoozy I did found it. But this time it is the Vodafone version on my Orange UK. I know it will get install properly because it's the same Bold model. But on the other hand, I am afraid for any menu changes. :S

I installed the Orange Switzerland update available on the Blackberry downloads website.

As a pucker Orange release all would be OK...and it was, although I now upgraded again to the newest Beta .147

Do I need to delete the vendor.xml file of installing the Orange Switzerland OS on an Orange UK phone?

you will need to delete the vender.xml file before you install it on your device, but then again, you might not have to; since its an orange update, and orange device.
