Default New Email - Delivers to BB..Not to Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Really weird ...very random problem...Every once in a while, a user will get an email on their blackberry but it never shows up in Outlook....When the user tries to reply on the bb...the server error log says cannot get original message...I checked deleted items/etc...almost like it was never delivered to Outlook....btw..running exchange 2003/Outlook 2003/BB8830/BES 4.1.4.15

Sounds like an issue with Exchange/Outlook. In order for it to reach the BB it has to reach the Exchange server. Something is removing it, I would investigate the Exchange Server first.

We have a similar problem, but in an albeit strange setup. We run a test bes and exchange server in house, while our company's primary exchange server is run by a hosted provider. On our local Exchange box, we have two users with internal addresses, but SMTP address configured to be the same as our hosted accounts.

When I send an email from my BB to the other BB on the test server, it never seems to make it to the hosted Exchange, but just gets routed from one local account to the other. The result is that it shows up on the BB, but not in Exchange.

Does this matchup at all with your configuration?
