Please Login to Remove!

i have the iphone 3g now. i have had the iphone 2g since the first week and it was good not great but good. i got the 3g and i am not happy service and all the other issues. i am now thinking of going to a BB bold or switch to VZ and got with the thunder when it comes out. or just stay with the same phone i have. i love the gadget of the iphone and i am also a business man i need email though i would rather talk on the phone and or txt, email is just a pain i am so confused on what to do or what would somebody do to have the best of all worlds in one device.

Most people here would think I've lost my mind, but I believe you currently have the best device. That being said, I haven't got my mits on a Bold yet. Most Blackberry users haven't given the Iphone a decent chance as it takes a while to learn the ins and outs of the Iphone, just like it does with the Blackberry. With most people, they wouldn't want to spend the money to find out since they are probably very happy with the device they have if they are a Blackberry user.
I would wait until you can get more feedback on the Bold before making a change.
I could be wrong, but if you were considering a Thunder, "that" would now be the new generation device that might need some shakeout time to work out the bugs, while you already have the 2nd generation Apple touchscreen device. Just my opinion....... (ducks waiting for the live fire overhead)

As with any new device, they always come with a "shake down time" as you so aptly put it.. I for one have had a Bold for a while now and consider the functionality of it second to none. I've also had the fortune to have used an iPhone and after careful consideration decided on the Bold as the better unit. Everyone of course is entitled to their own opinion, so you can either choose to go with the general consensus of the masses or try out the devices for yourself and come to your own conclusion

Here's just a short list of what the Bold can do in comparison to the iPhone:

1) Copy & Paste
2) Mass Storage Mode
3) Flash
4) Java Support
5) MMS
6) Themes
7) Micro SDHC Support
8) OBEX
9) Pin Messaging
10) A2DP
11) Spell Check
12) True Multi-Tasking
13) Speed Dial
14) Autotext
15) Full Qwerty Keyboard
16) High Level Security
