Can I just download and execute? This is an SP, not a ful reinstall correct? How much down time would you estimate?

Yes, I downloaded it from RIM's site, and upgraded three BES so far with no issues. I'm hoping to get to the Monitoring Service this or next week (have it running in our lab).

Per server, I'm guessing it took about 30 minutes with the reboot.

yes, warning you have no choice to reboot for finish sp intall.
