I have a Curve 8330 from Verizon. I notice that when I plug it in (Motorola car charger, computer, and wall charger), the lights come on, and the computer recognizes it, but the charging symbol, a plug next to the battery level indicator, doesn't always come on. Is this normal? Should it always come on?

If the BB is already fully charged it won't show a charging indicator.

OK Thanks. I thought I noticed that it wouldn't come on when partially charged either, but I'll check it out once it runs down a bit.

Make sure you're using the BB branded charger or that it's plugged into a PC that has Desktop Manager installed. I've had issues with some car chargers.

I've got a motorola charger for my bluetooth headphones and that works just fine.

I'm saying that just to point out that not all non BB stuff is not very good.
