Default Got my 7730 today!

Please Login to Remove!

I'm very excited. Tomorrow, I get hooked up to the corporate BES. Still playing around getting used to it. I'm coming from a palm and pocket pc world so it's a little different ;)

Only thing I dislike is the fact that Tmobile PLASTERED their logo on the back of the device so when it's in the cradle I'm a walking Tmobile billboard. That needs to go and would love ideas.

I guess my first question is...If I get setup with our company's BES, can I also use the BWC to setup personal email?

Welcome to the Blackberry World!

I have only had my BB for 6 days. Love it so far, but still learning.

Best of luck to you.

Welcome aboard! First suggestion would be to get rid of the plastic swivel holster that came with your BB 7730 it will do nothing more then mark and scare your device. I'm a big fan of the leather swivel pouches plus it will cover the TMo branding on the back of the device... http://store.bizshopr.com/rimacc-04746-010.html

I've never physically held a T-Mobile BB. Our dummy's don't have T-mobile logo anywhere except the usual small banner under the keys. How is it put on there? I'm guessing it's not a sticker, probably painted. If it is, my only guess is try a LITTLE BIT of pure acetone (available at more beauty supply stores), put it on a q-tip and try to rub a little bit of it, see if it lifts the paint at all. If it does, keep doing that, little at a time, being careful not to lift the blue, not sure if the blue of the BB is painted on, or if it's molded in that color. That would be where I'd start to try to remove it, other then like said previously, a leather casing.

Good luck, I'm curious how you make out in any event you endevor in :D

Awesome, thanks! This way I don't have to try and get rid of the painted logo

Wow, I just can't believe the clarity of this phone. I came from using a SE T610 and was always struggling to hear the other person.

This is not only clear, it's loud! It sounds so good it's like the person is in the same room with me.

Default Loud phone

My 7280 isloud as well. Nice problem to have when you make most of your calls while driving on the highway... In fact it is the first phone that I have had to turn down the volume from the max setting.
Better reception than my T610 and P900 as well.

I have used my 7730 for 2 weeks. A very good PDAphone radically different from the rest. Enough for daily use without any gimmicks left unuse.

One question - anyone has the clue of using PC to edit Memopad backup in the PC?

Along a similar vein, I also need to know if I can read the contents of Memo Pad files in my backup. My 7230 is broken and I need to access some data now whilst I am deciding which BB to buy.

I really need help here. If I can read my memopad data it would help me greatly as I have important information that I need this week.
Even though the lcd screen is unreadable it seems that the device is recognised by desktop manager so perhaps it is working. I have managed to perform a backup. Can I read the backup or the device directly and access my memopad files?
