HI guys. I can't do a backup of my 8330 without clearing the profiles database. otherwise it locks it up 100%.
I am the only setting that changes is my selection of ring tone.
Any ideas on this?

I ran in to something similar... Backup would freeze everytime on the profiles database. My problem was I had a custom MP3 Ringtone for one of my contacts... Not sure why but DM really did not like it. I cleared out the custom tone and the phone backed up fine. I just have to remember to re-set it if I ever restore my phone.

Yes This is exactly the same problem I have. I have set the phone to ring using the flint phone ring and with this setting It will not backup. All I have to do is clear the profiles and do it again and all is fine. I just need to reassign the ring tone and it works like I want it to.
Really a minor aanyance but WTF? This should be a NON ISSUE IMHO. A bug.
