this happens with anything now and then. I'm sure they won't be backordered for long.

You could try shopping around at those cell phone shops in Chinatown... with so many of them, one of them is bound to have a BB Curve.

If you're a current TMO customer, just say you want to cancel. I did this last week and amazingly the "cancellation specialist" had access to a special stock of them. If not a tmo customer, try amazon... better rebates for new customers there.

Have you tried going to a T-Mobile corporate store? I went to my local one yesterday and they had both colors in stock. The gold 8320 was on sale for $99.99 with a 2-yr contract too (if that's the color you want).

Haha, same with me. I was like "The last person I spoke to said you were all out." I got a Titanium for 149 out the door, no rebates.

The new Sunset Red Curve is supposed to be out next week. The Titanium appears to be on backorder. Rumour is the gold one will be eliminated from the lineup.

That's what I was told, as well, when I bought my Gold last week. The store I went to had both the new colors in stock and they were $50 more than the Gold. I asked the rep what the difference was to justify the price and he very openly and honestly said, "Just the new colors!" lol So I told him I'll take the Gold.

Of course, now that I've updated the OS and customized it to my needs, I don't see how the Titanium or Sunset would have been any better than what I now have....
