I just got this from an admin who's been having trouble lately with a couple new devices she got in from Verizon lately which are on our BES servers. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior?

FYI: VZW has updated their software on the 8830 world edition pearls. I’m hoping this is a device-specific problem and not a larger one but; my users on software version 4.2.2.146 are fine and have non-BES email accounts attached to the device, can use the “prompt” feature when deleting email and have no other issues. My chairman recently got the upgraded version of software (4.2.2.196) and has had his service books [CMIME] corrupted twice and this is the second device we’re trying; basic features such as replying to email and being prompted for action when deleting an email just stop working. RIM has let me know that they have had this problem several times with Verizon customers.

I have 4.2.2.196 on several verizon 8830 phones and have had no issues at all. I'm on BES 4.1.5 MR5

Thanks for the reply. We're on 4.1.6 as of last weekend, but were 4.1.4 before Saturday.
