Anyone notice that the T-Mobile Bottom Zen (net_rim_theme_100_320x240_b.cod) shows the original backround image when making/receiving calls rather than graduating the screen from white to black like in the 4.2 version of the theme? It's starting to annoy me enough to switch back to 4.2 :S

The video cam worked for me on .42 and .44. .46 caused so many problems I never was able to try it out. Now on .52 it's fine as well.

The one problem I had was that it would act like it was recording but no file was created. Then I saw a thread mentioning that with security on the SD card the file isn't created. So I took that off and it works just fine.

Me too, I have no luck finding anything but .42 which is pretty good so far. Got some new themes that also work well.

When I upgrade I just reformatted the card to clear all errors.

I wasn't really clear earlier, I meant with "Encrypt Media Files" on, it wouldn't create a video file. Is this a formatting issue as in I can get an encrypted video file if I format the card? I'll give that a shot tomorrow.

I believe the issue is only with the 8100.

Anyone knows what is the latest beta for 8700c? I'm running v4.5.0.42 (rel58) right now. Thanks.

4.5.0.55 is the latest that's been released to partners. Your version is still in beta, though, for the 8700.

Anyone else getting complaints with the size of the address book? It displays 2 lines, company name and first/last, and that means I can only see half the names as I used to... no choices in the options.

I am taking the plunge and going to .52, I guess I really do need the Voicemail Icon.

That's the new look. I actually didn't like it when I first tried it but its grown on me and I'm fine with it now.

Im thinking they should make it optional; especially considering their move into personal smart phone market. In my case, I only have a company name for about 10% percent of my contacts.

Only have minor issues with .52 so far, but want to see if anyone else is having them as well or if it's just me.

Opposed to the earlier beta builds of 4.5 I had, .52 wiped out a lot. I lost my ringtones that were on the phone itself (not on microsd card) and my service book for YahooMessenger that I had to custom install since AT&T doesn't support it. I also didn't have my Bluetooth icon on the "desktop" until I used BT setup to pair it with my headset. Once I had a device on my list it appeared on my desktop.

Also, in my SMS/MMS inbox, is the time on anyone else's getting cut off even though there's plenty of room? I use the Casual font at 7pt size. It's set up for two lines, name of sender/recipient on left then time on right, and first few words of the message on line two. On all of them it's like "First Last 2:3..." even though there's plenty of space. It's like the time column has a set space limit or something. 2:12a shows up but not 2:32a. It was on the last .4? build too I think. It's minor, but I'm anal and this stuff bugs me lol.

Camera still too dark and no flash, blah blah blah. Auto-dim off actually works now it seems! Finally!

I dunno, maybe its just me. But I've noticed that the vibrate function has become a lot stronger with the .52 upgrade on my 8120. Anyone else notice this at all? I couldn't even feel it on 4.3.0.115 or 4.5.0.42.

Thought it was my imagination...and still not sure, but it seems that it tickles a lot more now when my Curve is on my belt and it vibrates...

Also, another thing I noticed in .52 that I hadn't in earlier versions is threaded SMS/MMS messages. I know there were one or two people asking about this I didn't really care about it one way or the other, but it's there now. My only issue with it is that it doesn't say which messages are from you and which are to you, but I guess it's assumed you'll remember which are which.
