I got the same thing. In fact, the DM download version of the BBM5 upgrade does the same thing. Has anyone gotten this to work on the 8900? I'm using 4.6.1.250 OS.

Hey CurveDependent, I am having the exact same issue as you. I also notice that when on a call I start getting static and then the phone shuts off. I've tried the same steps as you with no luck.

It seems to me that the error is related to a memory leak. Not necessarily a memory leak with Jivetalk but with the OS itself. And if a lot is going on in Jivetalk that puts the device over the top....
