Why not just add the $7 unlimited mobile browsing to your Paygo account. It DOES work on the Bold. In advanced options under TCP, add goam.com as the APN.

A Fido SIM will not work in a Rogers locked phone. You can unlock the phone for use on other carriers. It's around $15 or $20 to do so. Horizon Wireless is one of the best. I've used them a few times...

As far as I know, Rogers is the only game in town for GSM (BB 8310) Blackberry service in Canada. Telus and Bell do have Blackberry service, but an AT&T device will not work on these carriers.

APN should be blank for Blackberry data

You might also check under mobile network that preferred is set to Rogers
