Thanks for the article. I figured out how to do this and late in the day yesterday found out that we are running an older version of Messenger, which needs to be 2.0 to run on BES 4.1

Follow-up for my issue

You all probally know this, but I got my BlackBerry to work after I restarted the BES (4.1) I had done an install and I recommend rebooting after installing the BES or you will have the same problem...

I probally know this anwser, but will upgrading the 7290 to 4.1 firmware enable Edge? My guess is it will not as that requires different hardware.

FW 4.1 Desktop manager compatablility

I downloaded the firmware but my desktop manager did not recognize it when I plugged in my BlackBerry. I removed the 2.49 version but still no luck updating. I have a 7290 on BES. Any thoughts?
