Default GetAndCreateFolderInfo failed errors?

Please Login to Remove!

I am receiving alot of warnings on the server event viewer with Event ID 20421 for certain users. {user@mydomain.com} - GetAndCreateFolderInfo OpenFolder failed {0x8004010f}, FolderID = 0.

This is coming from the source "Blackberry Messaging Agent blackberry Agent 1"

This is the most common entry in the event viewer of the blackberry server. It would be nice to get rid of it.

Thanks in advance.

I have just had a complaint from a user who claims that deleted items are not removed from his handheld (he means items he deleted from the desktop), and am seeing this logged against this chap.

Google only churns up this page, and theres nowt on RIM's site.

This perhaps the SQL server version :

Microsoft say :

SYMPTOMS
The SQL Mail extended stored procedures xp_readmail and xp_deletemail may intermittently fail with error 0x8004010f (MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND), and calls to the xp_findnextmsg SQL Mail extended stored procedure prematurely stop iterating over the messages in the specified mailbox.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
290211 (http://www.support.microsoft.com/kb/290211/EN-US/) INF: How to Obtain the Latest SQL Server 2000 Service Pack

Stouf - Updating SQL won't help. That is only when SQL uses those stored procedures (which BES does not). This is a BES-Exchange issue.

My guess is that the BES is trying to open PST, which will fail!

This went away for a while, and now it is back, with increased frequency from a single user.

{username@domain.com} - GetAndCreateFolderInfo OpenFolder failed (0x8004010f). FolderID=0

Any fixes for this?
