I just got the 8703e from verizon last week and I am having problems unlocking some of the vendor themes. I am trying to get the Zen theme which I have read so much about. I have followed the directions on this website for unlocking vendor themes and I was able to get some new ones, yet I did not get the Zen theme. I also tried following some links I read about directly from my phone's brsoer, but that was also unsuccessful.

Does anyone know how to get this theme? Both methods I have tried have not worked and I don't know why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you need handheld OS version 4.2 for the Zen theme. OS 4.2 is not yet available for the Verizon 8703e.

The zen theme is available in 4.1.0 packages. There was an omission in the wiki instructions (regarding the themesupport attribute). It has been corrected now:

I re-installed the software to follow the updated directions for unlocking the themes, however, one of the folders (the "shared folder") is not available under the "Research in Motion" folder.

Any other advice or another way to download this theme?

I have tried installing it over the air several times and it will not work. The error message states,

"HTTP Error 404: Not Found
The page you are trying to load could not be found. Please try loading a different page"

Any ideas?

Could it be a problem with my browser?
