There is no Skype for Blackberry unless you use the US carrier, Verizon.

Yes, Skype is only available to US customers of one US carrier, Verizon.

There are other applications that can use Skype numbers, but all use minutes, they are not voice over internet applications.

They don't offer the 9105. As its GSM, and Verizon is a CDMA network.

If you really want to use Skype, over the internet, you'll have to choose a different phone; like you said, HTC or Nokia.
