Hello,
I have the Storm 9550 and soon will get the 9800,

Are all chargers I have for the Storm compatible with the Torch? (Car charger , power charger , Charging pod)

Also , what about the battery? Is it different than the Storm?

charging pod, no. the usb in the phone is placed the other way round.
But the other chargers should work, as its the same type of usb (micro-usb)

I have 2 OEM charging pods, one at the office and one at home. They work so well that I am no longer considering the PowerMat. They will also allow you full use of your phone while charging because of the USB cable. The charging pods for the Storm won't work since the USB port doesn't line up. My 9700 car charger works great for my Torch.

So I guess the battery is different as well , right?
