Default How to hard reset without battery pull

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know if this still works on Onyx, a few times I did it, it did some kind of weird radio turn off and clock timer thing and did something, but not a hard reset. Second time I did it it hard reset, is their something going on here different?

Also I notice on hard reset on Onyx everytime it brings back the Aeson mp3 sample song even though i was deleted before I hard reset.

Download an app called "quickpull". It works great!

As for your aeson, it brings back a "service book" which acts as an icon. If u click on them, they download an app, if you delete them, itl come back. I hide mine in a big folder, and I have no issues

Actually, pulling the battery is good for the device. I never had a lot of faith/luck with Quick Pull. Didn't think it really allowed the memory to fully flush and reset.

Exactly. From what I've read the only way to truly reset the device is through a battery pull. Though I think you may be able to through BBSAK as well. Software resets (eg Quick Pull or alt-shift-del) do not accomplish the same thing.
