Default WiFi Apps? GPS apps abound...Where are the cool WiFi apps?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8120 and an 8310...I find myself moving all my social networking apps, flickr, GPSed, etc... over to the 8310...

All the cool location based stuff is awesome...

I find myself using my 8120 less and less....

So, my question is, are there any cool WiFi apps?

Thanks!

Myk

Any app that requires internet will work on a wifi device. Wifi is just another method of doing the same thing that EDGE does. What specific kind of wifi apps are you looking for? It's a lot different than LBS.

I think he means applications such as one that will log open wifi networks as you drive through town :P

I guess what I'm trying to say is, my Pearl is feeling a bit left out and I'm trying to rationalize keeping it... WiFi has been less "used" than I thought it would be... Sure, I can download pictures faster, etc... but no real advantage...

I'm using my Curve ten times more than I ever did my Pearl... If there was a "killer" or even a useful app that was WiFi only or even just worked better with WiFi, that'd be great!

Examples would be (remember, I'm on BIS) a LAN browser, or even some sort of WiFi connection sharing to my Curve (kinda like using the Pearls WiFi for faster browsing on my Curve)...

I dunno..

Thanks again,

Myk

You can browse the internet over WiFi for free, and really fast too!
