I don't know if I'm just using cruddy search terms or what, but I can't find any charts on Handheld compatability and BES versions.

Will all handhelds work on all versions of BES? (obviously less some service books) My concern is email working and MDS working.

I'm on 4.0 now and looking to get to 4.1.5 or 6.

No issues here with email. we dont use MDS though.

7000 series
8000 series
9000 series

all working here on 4.1.6 MR3.

All BlackBerry handheld regardless of OS version can be added to BES. Of course some function will not work because it require certain version of the handheld OS.

I believe that you won't find many or any OTA features or Wireless activation will work until you move to a minimum OS of 4.0.
