Default Recommendation on Bluetooth device.

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking for a bluetooth ear piece, and I would like to see if anyone could recommend anything specific, and if people could give their input on how they like/dislike their particular device. Also, I would like to be able to voice dial from the device, I don't know if my 7105t supports that feature or not, but if so, what device would you recommend?

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

People seem to like the plantronics 510 and 640. The 510 does it for me.

Or try the Cardo Scala 500 for $10 at CompUSA (after $40 rebate). No noise cancelling, but what do you expect for $10?

I'm hoping to ride this out until the next generation of bluetooth headsets, since there are so many complaints about the current versions, which indicates that this is still a bleeding edge product and manufacturers are still figuring out how to optimize all the parameters. That said, they are definitely getting closer, as the current devices seem to be much better than the last generation (BT 1.1 devices).

Personally, I prefer the Motorola headsets with the flip open boom mic, such as hs810, hs850, hs700. Yet, I know many T-Mobile bb users that are using the plantronics headsets and love them.

Jabra Headset does it or me. Easier to hear in higher noise situations like a car etc. Also fits to my ear better because of my glasses

I find I can not hear the HS850 over any kind of wind noise. For instance, my car must be completely sealed shut to hear it well enough. I wish it was louder.

My next bluetoth will NOT be a Motorola.

I use both the Plantronics 320 and 640. I love both of them. The 640 is a little more expensive, but well worth the extra green.

I had the HS850, couldn't hear a thing. I'm using the Jabra BT500 now with my 7100i, and I'm much happier
