Default RIM Deleting Old Appointments

Please Login to Remove!

I'm in big trouble. I just sync'd my BB8830 world phone and it deleted ALL my old appointments. I've specifically set the desktop software to sync ALL appointments. They're now gone from the BlackBerry AND Outlook. I have significant billing to do based upon the lost appointments. Is there any way to recover them and stop this from happening ever ever ever ever again?

I'm so screwed - Help me please!

uhhh, did you look in Outlook's Deleted Message Folder?

You should be able to move them from the deleted items folder back into your calendar (drag and drop usually does the trick)

Also when you get them back you can back up outlook to a file also.

I can't find a folder for deleted appointments, just emails. Is it hidden somewhere?

I did find them in the end. Not all of them but I was able to get most of it back. Any ide what might have happened?

This is terrifying. I'd hate to have to back up Outlook every time I sync with my blackberry

Wirelessly posted (Curve 8330)

To answer your question, you might check your Outlook settings. You may. have Auto Archiving set to delete stuff automatically. Another thing to check is whether you have "handheld wins", "desktop wins" in the sync settings. I am a big fan of "notify me if there is a conflict".
