so is the workaround this

Livelink - Redirection

I am avoiding sp6 as of now since I have not fully tested in my DEV. Is the workaround good as far as regsitering the dll's and if so do you need to reboot the server

looks like it. You should still test it in you DEV first.

SP6 is much easier than the workaround.
Stop services, backup DB and registry, run setup and do a few clicks, wait like 10 min, rebbot and your done. YMMV

We are using 4.1 SP4 and I have applied MR6 for the security fix. registered the dll for the fix the attachment server gives an error that there is no BES found in the registry for the dispatcher service.
Does anyoe know why this would happen?

Thanks in advance.

holy crap, I'm on holidays from friday, come back today, and look what I find. I disabled the PDF viewing on the devices, and will apply 4.1.6 on Saturday.

Scary vulnerability.

Hi, we're running BES 4.1.3.16 with Lotus Domino. I put in place the workaround a couple weeks ago and today I've installed the 'interim security software update' and backed-out the workaround so pdf's are now being reconcilled.
I'm not able to open pdf's that were blocked by the 'workaround', does anybody know howto get them reconcilled so users can open them on their devices ???

thank you
