hi, i'm not sure if this is in the correct place.

But when i am texting when i press the letter 'm' it appears on screen as 'mi' and if i press 'i' it also appears as 'mi' this also happens with a few other letters. I have had the blackberry for just a little over a year and have not had this problem.

My mum had this problem a while back and i managed to fix it through something in settings or options but i cannot remember how i done it. However, i have read other posts which are kind of similar and water damage has been proposed, however my phone hasn't been exposed to water or moisture. If anyone can help it'd be fab, i'm going crazy not being able to text properly :(

Did you try a battery pull?

yess :( ... i don't think it's water damage because it seems like the keys are still linked eg. 'm' = 'mi', 'i' = 'im', 'n' = 'ny', 'y' = 'ny'.

atleast i really hope it's not water damage

Look at the indicator - is it red or pink?

i checked the indicator, it only has the line through the sticker, the rest is white.
