I ended up getting two from ebay. Got them the next day for $22 bucks each with free shipping. The seller was in California so it worked out quite nice

I just pulled the trigger through Ebay. I think I used the same seller as Brandon, same price in California.

Could be. I bought from 'talkaccessories'. Not sure if it's okay to name the seller here (sorry mod's if it's not!).

They were great...fast shipping and good price.

Which one did you get? All the ones I am looking at are not for the bold?

Thanks

Who's selling them in Canada? I don't want to bother with clearing customs.

Customs shouldn't be charging you for something worth so little. I ordered one from Ebay and am just waiting now.

I wish. Depends on method of shipment. USPS seems to be the best way to receive stuff from the US. Takes a bit longer, but no crazy brokerage/duty to worry about.

That's what I do now too. I ask senders not to use UPS, their brokerage fees cost more than the items shipped.

Got mine today. Its a little different than the one for 83xx - no BB lit up logo in front. But the Bold fits snugly in it unlike the old one in which the BB tended to fall out.

I got one too. However, it doesn't work when the skin is on.

Are there any skins that are compatible with the charger? It is a little annoying to remove the skin everytime I charge it!

Also, it doesn't sync with my pc for music/photos.

Thanks team!

i really don't understand why they didn't just release the accessories wherever they release the phone!! I mean, I'm in Malaysia where the phone just came out and they don't have any of the accessories.

I really want the charging pod, but it's all a bit steep when I have to add shipping (checked out the Californian ebay seller... it's over US$50 to send over 2 of them!).

Guess I just have to wait until the accessories are officially released in Asia. The charging pod is especially important for this phone because the battery does drain pretty quickly (moreso when everything is running).

Expansys report 35 in stock:

Buy a RIM® BlackBerry Bold 9000 Charging Pod, #ASY-14396-003 - eXpansys UK

Shame they are £4 dearer than everyone else. Price you pay for them having it now. Typical.

Can I use the USB from a PC to charge the Bold via the pod? Or, do I need a separate adapter to charge via the pod?
