Default SMS shortcut

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a shortcut to compose a SMS message? If i go into my message window and then press c i get an email compose window when i want aSMS window.

It will compose the last defaulted thing you composed.
If the last thing you composed with an email, it will open an email.
If it was an SMS, it will open an SMS.

this is also true for each contact. If the last thing you sent that contact was an SMS, it will default to composing an SMS. etc

And its true default is to compose an email.

The last thing i did about 20mins ago was an SMS. Still opens email?

I use a shortcut program, Shortcutme to address this. I think Quick Launch provides the same function ????

I think you can also make the SMS one of your convenience keys - checkout options-screen/keyboard

I use Qsms from berrycoder dot com. Only works with 'dial from home screen' set to off or you can just click on the icon. Small footprint too at about 18k

Just started using this. Just what I was after.

Another question. When I receive a text is there any way of viewing the details of the sent text. E.g what time it was sent?
