Hi,
I need help.I have 9530 unlocked with tmobile config on it. i want to add Turkish language or change the language on my storm from English to Turkish because i want to send it to my dad and he doesnt read or speak. i know there is 9500 version in turkey which is vodafone. i have tried to install 9500 vodafone Turkish software but somehow cell phone did see the software. can someone please help?

I am not sure, but I surmise your dad will need a 9500 in order to function with Vodafone - which I am sure is a GSM carrier.

I concede that I am unaware of 9530's being configured to function in Europe. The 9500 uses a different OS, which I do know will not work if installed in your 9530.

Having researched foreign language font scripts for the Storm, I do know there are very few font scripts available for input capability in the Storm. So far I have only seen Arabic and Korean. The rest such as Hebrew allow for READ only.

My suggestion is to purchase your dad the 9500 model which allows for FULL input / text input ability in Turkey.
