Default sms text msgs getting deleted

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have a 8100 pearl, my sms text msgs are getting deleted from the msgs folder. I dont have anything in the memory the phone is pretty new. it used to store all my text msgs, but just yesturday it stopped storing them. is there a setting i have missed? i checked the settings for hiding, and they are set to no.

This is most likely being caused from a memory leak. Press and hold alt and push LGLG, the clear the log. After that do a battery pull and that should fix the problem.

well i tried all that was suggested. worked for awhile, then started texting and now it erased everything again. any suggestions? thanks

How much free space do you have? You should have about 15MB for normal operation. I keep mine at around 30-33. When I see it get to below 20, I use the SoftReset program, which is equivalent to a battery pull. You should also close programs you are not using, reduce the memory allocated to pictures. You might even want to try loading the latest OS and deleting unused languages and other components you won't use.
