Question Lose track ball

Please Login to Remove!

i've got 8310

I 've lost my track ball. Am live in Poland and it is hard to get new track ball here.
Here is my question is it common that people lose it. If so i want repair it's not worth money time and effort i gone change model.

If it doesn't occure very often then i gonna order from UK new one. would that be easy to stick it in back ? i dont have ring ball nothing in there.

Thanks

I haven't heard of too many people loosing their trackballs. Seems like a relatively hard thing to lose unless you took it out.

It should be a relatively inexpensive part to replace (not sure if available in Poland) but I would imagine if your local carriers sell BlackBerrys, they would have spare parts.

Worst come to worst you can always try to get an old BlackBerry (Curve, Pearl) device that someone doesn't want/use and transplant the trackball over to your device. They are the same.

If you can obtain a replacement trackball, it's not very difficult to replace.

Just follow the instructions: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...rl-8100-a.html

Takes 10minutes or less if you've done it before.
